Jason is the Founder and President of Driven Sports Group, and is certified with the NHLPA. Jason has over 14 years of experience representing the interests of elite hockey players. Jason oversees many aspects of Driven Sports Group’s operations, including but not limited to player contracts, services, and player development.
Jason’s work ethic is second to none; he is readily accessible to each of Driven’s clients and their families, ensuring they receive the best representation possible. The philosophy Jason has always instilled in himself and in the players is “be better then you were yesterday”.
Jason’s relationships with organizations in the NHL, AHL, OHL, NCAA and Prep School leagues allow him to provide superior service and peace of mind for his clients. Jason’s ability to help his players develop is unparalleled in the industry, with 5 years’ experience working as the head trainer at one of the largest gyms in Southern Ontario, serving as a coach at Brock University Hockey Camps and as well Head Instructor at Pro Power Skate Niagara.
Jason concluded his academic career at Brock University in 2007, where he graduated with First Class Honours in Sport Management, was a 4 time Academic All Canadian, and played Canadian Interuniversity Hockey. His accolades at Brock University include the Steel Blade Award (3x), the Bev McCollum Award (2x), the Ed Werner Award (3x) and the President’s Award (2x) for his athletic and academic achievements. Jason now resides in Grimsby, Ontario with his 3-year-old son Hunter.
Joseph "SHOES" Giannini
Joseph has worked in the insurance industry for most of his career and currently runs his own Claims Consulting Business. Joseph graduated from York University with a Mathematics Degree and has since secured his FCIP and CRM Accreditations in the insurance industry.
Joseph has been a passionate fan of minor hockey over the last 20 years and has gone on to build many relationships with hockey scouts from the NHL, OHL, OJHL, GOJHL, CCHL and the NCAA. Joseph has been in the Agent/Advisor role for the last 5 years and joined Jason at Driven upon its inception in November 2018. Joseph works with recruiting players from Bantam to Jr. Levels, including Midget. Joseph covers all over Ontario in finding top level elite players as well as managerial work with recruited players. Joseph works frequently alongside hockey executives to support players and their development.
Joseph, better known as “Shoes” in the industry, has a reputation of trustworthiness and reliability among the players and their families that Driven represents. He has the ability to genuinely connect with his clients and assist our players to reach their maximum potential.
Joseph enjoys spending time with his wife and two children at the cottage and loves to fish competitively for Bass and Pike with his son.
Jeff has been involved with team administration, scouting and advisory roles for over 30 years. He has worked with, or been consulted by Professional, Major Junior and College teams and has many years of experience in business. He communicates with hockey’s decision makers while helping to guide players through the ‘Business of Hockey.’
Jeff is an important asset to Driven as he analyzes player evaluations, depth charts, statistics, salary caps and video for the Driven Sports Group and provides advice to the players and staff, based on his experience and knowledge.
Jeff has been involved in running his own successful family business for over 25 years and is well known around Niagara and the GTA area. He is a hardworking, results driven business man, who’s work ethic, passion, and knowledge is a great asset to Driven and its clients.
Jeff and his wife Therese live in St. Catharines, Ontario
Tyler has grown-up in rinks, playing, coaching, and scouting at various levels of hockey with blending old-school knowledge and an eye for analytics. Tyler's work with Driven has seen him become a fixture in rinks throughout Southern Ontario and attendance at multiple Hockey Analytics conferences.
Tyler is great addition to Driven with his background in hockey and analytics and developed a keen eye for players. Tyler is responsible for scouting the GHTL but also oversees the scouting of young players all over Ontario. Outside of hockey, Tyler works as an Analyst and Marketer since graduating from Brock University's Goodman School of Business in 2014.
Tyler also enjoys playing hockey himself, as well has ran several half marathon’s. Tyler resides in Toronto, Ontario.
Evaluator/Consulting Skills Coach
Liam Bruch is an area scout for Driven with focus also on player development. Liam also works as a Financial Advisor with Freedom 55. Liam’s work ethic and passion in both hockey and business is a great asset to Driven and has shown to be excellent in working with young clients.
Liam played junior hockey in Niagara before playing professional hockey in Australia. Liam has been in player development for the past 6 years working for Sandy Velenosi Power skating as well as other skating and development camps. Liam graduated from Mohawk College in Finance Management. Liam resides in Grimsby, Ontario and covers scouting in Niagara and the Alliance area for Driven.
Rob has had success at every level of hockey he has played at. He was top talent and player in the Ontario Hockey League, playing with the Sault Greyhounds, Erie Otters and Barrie Colts. Rob after a very successful OHL career went to play 10 years of professional hockey in the American Hockey League, as well as Europe where he was a top scorer there as well.
Rob now runs a very successful player development business where he is one of the top skill coaches in the business. Rob is also a great evaluator and able to watch players and break down their weaknesses and help correct them and allow them to reach their potential. Rob is a great asset to Driven and will be able to help evaluate players and will be able to help in their development. Rob resides in Oakville with his wife and three boys.
Martha comes to Driven with a background in finance and accounting. She previously worked as a finance professional in the retail sector for Canadian companies West 49 and Canadian Tire.
She is a graduate of Wilfred Laurier University where she studied economics and accounting. Martha later obtained an additional degree from Brock University in business communications. Martha is a great asset to Driven and its clients, with her background in business, as well as passion for sport.
Martha resides in Burlington Ontario, with her husband Dan, and their 3 children.
